Week 4: Donkey Kong

Welcome back to my Family Man Challenge! By the end of last week, Randy had a total of 28 children by 15 different mothers. The man is on a roll and super disgusting. I’m not going to list all of his children’s names anymore, that is a habit I will regret. And speaking of regrets, I have decided to update the family tree pages at the end of the challenge. Creating each tree is a lot of work and as they increase I just don’t have the time to commit to making them. I will continue to upload pictures to the single tree I have on Family Echo.

Sunday

The first baby of the week was born to Jenna Akimara. Welcome baby Gil! I feel like the first baby of the week should get a certificate or something.

Not long after Zoe Patel had her baby, Weston. Sorry, no certificates for seconds.

Randy immediately invited Zoe over. Excited, he rushed outside to greet her.

And straight into the Magic Box they went.

Randy: Abracadabra!

Then it was Jenna Akiyama’s turn again, but I forgot to get pictures. They both had a good time, then she went home to her husband and children.

Baby bump spotted in the wild: Ciara Sterling is with child! I wonder if she will pass her fashion sense on to her children.

A very pregnant Mila Munch and a possibly pregnant Zoey Patel. I wonder if they know their children will be siblings.

What time is it? Time for Nancy Landgraab’s daily jog/walk passed Randy’s house. She is so thirsty.

Nancy Landgraab: *panting* Look out your window. Look out your window.

Inside Randy was entertaining a lady-friend, Clara Bjergsen. As you can see he doesn’t really bother with clothes anymore, not unless he needs to.

Randy: You don’t mind do you? I need to fuel up; I’ve burned a lot of calories today.

Clara Bjersen: *stares at Randy’s chest* Nope.

Randy didn’t have to work too hard to get Clara into the bathroom to see his magic box. She attacked him before the door closed behind them. Then he busted out in hives! He hit the special sauce after the magic show and those hives cleared right up.

Aaradhya Acharya looks like she’s delivering a pizza ball. and that is Ava Harjo on the porch looking for Randy.

Aaradhya Acharya: I wonder if he will call me.

Don’t hold your breath, Aaradhya. Randy is a busy, busy man. He’ll make time for you once that baby hotel has a vacancy.

Ava Harjo: Randy, Hiiiiiiiii. Oh, were you in the hot tub? Would you like company?

Randy: *awkward* Uhhhh, Randy’s gotta catch 40, doll. Could you scoot along? Got a big day tomorrow. Thanks.

Ava Harjo: Oh, yeah, of course. Call me!

Monday

While Randy got his beauty sleep Aaradhya Acharya delivered that pizza ball, a girl named Sara.

Zoe Patel has a baby on board!

Who dis? Dina Caliente? I think this is Dina. Let’s say it is. I wasn’t taking good notes at this point and I didn’t get a before or after shot of his lady visitor.

Then Nina Caliente came over and they got it on like Donkey Kong.

Randy: You ready to monkey around?

Nina Caliente: Sweetheart, I was born ready.

Bed: *groans in protest*

Adulthood came upon Randy like a swift ninja strike because I wasn’t paying attention.

Randy decided to invite Katrina Caliente over for birthday celebrations.

Randy “visited” with each of the Caliente women. Who could ask for a better birthday?

Tuesday

Belated birthday gift? L. Faba had a baby girl, Dominique.

Randy invited her right over. It seems she was not very happy with the state of the weather. Maybe a spell has gone wrong? It took some coaxing to get her to put down that umbrella.

Randy: You can put that thing down and we can go inside.

L. Faba: I can not make the rain stop, Randy. I have tried. It will not stop!

Randy invited her into the bedroom where they made their own magic. (So cheesy.)

Seema Raghaven came over. She looks like she might enjoy the same fashion magazine Ciara Sterling reads.

Wham, bam, thank you, ma’am.

Randy had to make this a quick visit because he was feeling that tingle. There was a lady nearby whom he had not met before.

After the introductions, you know the whole, “I’m new in town and here to serve,” thing; Randy invited her inside. Meet Emilia Ernest. She’s a spellcaster living in Glimmerbrook with her fiancé, Darrel Charm, and his family. She has room for 4 babies in her house. Engaged or not, Emilia forgot everything with one “thwang” of Randy’s bow. She was putty in his hands.

Randy: Have you seen my tiny golden bow?

Emilia Ernest: Oh, I love your tiny golden bow!

They slow-danced to generic romance music in his living room.

Then Emilia and Randy went to the magic box where Emilia showed him her magic.

Randy: Abrah…

Emilia: Shut up, Randy. I’m driving this train.

Outside, a very young, very teenage, Evie Delgato walked by Randy’s house. Randy tingled, but could not extract himself from his Emilia Ernest situation in time to meet the new lady. Next time, Evie, next time.

Wednesday

Early Wednesday morning baby Odin Moyer was born. I hope he has both eyes.

Another day, another tingle. Randy was out the door like he was on fire. He missed one lady and would not miss a second. Meet Grace Anansi, she’s a spellcaster and lives in Glimmerbrook with her roommate, Tomax Collette. She has room for six babies in her house. Behind Grace is Darrel Charm, Emilia Ernest’s fiancé. I wonder how those wedding plans are coming along.

Randy: Are you wearing space-pants?
Grace Anansi: Oh my gah! Teehee, are you really using that line on me?
Randy: Please allow me to introduce myself. I’m Randy Johnson, I’m new in town and I’m here to serve.
Darrel Charm: *listens and learns*

Randy talked Grace Anansi into joining him in his bathroom to see a mysterious plant he found. She was very excited about identifying this plant for Randy.

Grace Anansi: I can tell you what that plant is!

But that Randy, he already knew what plant that was and stealthy nabbed a kiss.

It didn’t end there, oh no. Time for the magic show.

Outside, Nina Caliente dressed up for Christmas. Shouldn’t she have a baby bump by now? That needs to be fixed pronto!

As soon as the magic show was over, Randy dashed out the door leaving Grace Anansi to fumble out of the shower on her own.

Randy: Merry Christmas, doll. *muah*

Nina Caliente: Do youhave a present for me?

Randy: Sure do. Follow me.

This is Megumi Ito, she lives in Mt. Komorebi with her family. Randy tried to meet her, but she walked right by him. Looks like we may have missed our opportunity because it seems she is doing a Back to the Future disappearing act.

Goodbye, Megumi. I wish you could have had one of Randy’s children.

Now, back to Nina Caliente, who seems to be fish-mouthing the air.

Randy: A little to your left.

While Randy and Nina were busy. Mila had a baby.

And soon after Kalamainu’u also had a baby. For those counthing that’s seven babies so far this week!

Randy ended Wednesday with a visit from Alex Moyer.

Thursaday

As Randy slept in the wee hours of Thursday morning Nalani Mahi’ai gave him a baby boy, Anthony.

As soon as it is socially acceptable Randy is on the phone inviting friends over to his place. Here we have Miko Ojo and Randy in the Love Tub.

Randy’s daughter, Joslyn Price, was spotted with a serious case of Stink Face. Hasn’t her mother ever told her that her face could freeze like that?

Zoe Patel gave Randy another child, a girl named Tatiana.

I missed the phone call for the birth of Jenna Aikiyama’s son Gordon. Maybe he will grow up to be a world-famous chef that yells profanities.

Clara Bjergsen gave Randy a daughter, Paula. That’s baby number 11 this week!

As Miko left his house, two of his other baby mamas appeared. You would think he would take the easy opportunity to entertain one of these ladies here, but Randy had invited a special guest over for a sleepover.

Miko Ojo: Excuse me… Pardon me… Could I just get passed you; you’re blocking the sidewalk and it’s a little cold out here.

Becca Clarke is a student at Britechester University, she lives in the dorms with her best friend Julia Wright. They have room for six babies in their household. Randy assumes living in a dorm means you would get a lot of help raising your babies. Randy chooses to look at the world through rose-colored glasses. He’s also mentioned to Becca that he would love to meet her roommate.

Becca Clarke: These cookies are so good. Oddly addictive.
Randy: Thanks, doll. you should try my tea next time.

Not long after ingesting her cookie Becca was ready for their sleepover to finally get underway.

Friday

Friday morning after Becca Clarke was escorted out Zoe Patel came over for some bedtime fun.

Zoe Patel: I feel like I was here just a few days ago.
Randy: Four days ago. We do what we do.

A quick zoom around town shows us that Emilia Ernest is sporting a baby bump. She’s also still engaged to Darrel, maybe he thinks the baby is his. We all know the truth though.

Mila Munch was next on the schedule. I’m not sure if she is the one that knocked over the trash can or if it was Zoe Patel; either way, that was rude! But Randy has no time to fix that mess right now.

Randy: A one-piece, Mila? Those are more challenging, but I like a good challenge.

Dina Caliente’s birthday celebration with Randy resulted in the birth of a baby girl, Tara.

Shift-change! Mila Munch and Mei Prescott passed each other as Mila left with a skip in her step.

Mila Munch: Have a great time, girl!
Mei Prescott: *cringe* Is that the mother of one of my students?

Don’t be ashamed of hanging out with Randy, Mei, everyone is doing it.

Her embarrassment didn’t last long.

Mei: *baby voice* Waaaaandy, why haven’t you called me?
Randy: Shhh, we have more important things to do.

Mei Prescott left and Randy had time to squeeze one more in.

Nalani Mahi’ai: Randy, I’m so happy you called.
Randy: I hear that a lot.

Randy: Last one in is a rotten egg.
Nalani Mahi’ai: Hey, you’re cheating.
Randy: All’s fair in love and war, doll.

Randy has so many girlfriends at this point that he can’t keep them all straight. So instead of confusing someone’s name he just calls everyone “doll,” like some guy from the 1940s.

Saturday

Another Caliente baby! Shouldn’t Nina have had one by now too?

To celebrate the birth of his newest daughter, Randy invited Ciara Sterling over.

While they were busy I zoomed around town and saw this little fellow. This is Michael Sterling, Ciara and Randy’s son. I am not sure where that skin tone comes from. He definitely has his mother’s fashion sense.

Yasemin Tinker walked by the house alerting Randy with a tingle. He invited her in and spent way too much time trying to get her into the shower. He even made her a drink! It was not happening, she was not interested in Randy at all.

Yasemin Tinker: I think I should get back home to my wife now, but thanks for the drink.
Randy: But…the magic…in the box…

Clearly, Randy is not used to being rejected.

Missed the birth of Kian Faba thanks to Randy’s difficulty with Yasemin.

Rejection is never easy, so to ease his feelings Randy invited Aaradhya Acharya over. She helped him forget his troubles for a few minutes at least.

And that’s the end of week 4. Let’s take stock of the children. This week a total of 15 children were born making the grand total 43 children with 20 different mothers.

Side Note: While I was writing this I was listening to Dave Grohl’s memoir, Storyteller: Tales of Life and Music. He narrates it himself. 10 out of 10 would recommend. I found it available on Libby and Hoopla through my library.
